Role Title: Community and Marketing Manager
Job Location: London
Company Description: We are home to a huge number of independently operated
small businesses in the centre of Peckham.
We completed the development of our building in 2019, and now run a shared
workspace, indoor food/retail market and small cafe, as well as acting as landlord to
a music venue, gym, rooftop bar and restaurant. It’s a place that is full of life and energy, and we’re looking for someone who can embed themselves in this and our local neighbourhood.
What will the candidate be doing? :
1. Operating and evolving a holistic PR, communications & marketing strategy for
our workspace, indoor market and building as a whole
2. Operating and growing our digital presence (content creation, social media,
newsletters, websites, Google My Business, message boards etc)
3. Planning and running events independently, as well as with 3rd parties
4. Managing the building’s community, engaging with its occupants and neighbours
in a way that allows genuine and informed marketing
What are the 5 essential skills required?
1. You are experienced in content creation (Instagram, TikTok), physical marketing,
events management, PR and influencer marketing
2. You are a self-starting, structured person, taking the initiative where required but
always balancing this with wider business priorities
3. You have excellent communication skills and an ability to hit an appropriate tone
of voice/style for different platforms and situations
4. You enjoy listening to, understanding and promoting a broad range of people
5. You have knowledge of and some connection to Peckham and the surrounding
area
